Los Barrios encourages Technological exchange between Universities and Industry.
The U.K. based LPC Pharma and the Group are supporting the PIE project in Spain. They plan to put up a pharmaceutical company, paper manufacturing plant and a centre for research in Andalusia, Spain. The investment ascends to 330 million Euros and will generate 550 jobs.
GAMA is a public company run by Los Barrios Council and created to set up the PIE project for building a Business Park beside the main A-380 road, Andalusia, Spain. The company is registered as technology developers with the Andalusian Regional Government Agency for Science and Innovation.
Its underlying objectives are to encourage and administer the flow of technology and information between Universities, Industries, Markets and Research Institutions and to stimulate the creation and growth of innovative companies.
