Uvistat was re-launched with its new livery and technology leading formulations at the British Epidermo-Epidemiology Society (BEES) conference on the 27^th March at the prestigious location of St Andrew’s in Scotland. It was verywell received and generated lots of enquiries in the NHS in Scotland.

 April saw Uvistat at the Royal College of Nursing (RCN) Congress in Bournemouth, where over 5,000 nurses attended the event. There was fantastic support for the brand and lots of requests for information and samples for use in schools, universities, sun aware road shows, clinics and hospitals.

May was a very busy month; firstly we attended the Primary Care Conference at the NEC in Birmingham where over 4,000 healthcare professionals (pharmacists, GP’s, PCT managers, midwives, healthcare visitors, community nurses, school nurses etc) attended. The news headlines whilst we were at the conference were about misleading claims on sunscreens (e.g. Total Block, Ultra Block etc); we could clearly show that our products did not fall into the misleading category and again stimulated a lot of interest in the brand.

A series of target meetings with key dermatologists ensured that the awareness of this serious sun protection brand steadily grew and consequently the numbers of enquiries about availability and sales also grew.

Towards the end of May, we also attended the Medical Dermatology conference at the Royal College of Physicians in London
